Another Customer Service Award for FigFlex: Meet Our Workplace Champion

We’ve picked up another award for customer service.

And, as is becoming something of a theme at FigFlex, it’s not really an award for the building.

It’s an award for the person who makes the building what it is.

We’re delighted to announce that Dan Wood, Centre Manager at FigFlex Lynch Wood Park in Peterborough, has been named a Workplace Champion at the 2026 Peterborough Top 100 Awards.

For anyone who knows Dan, this probably won’t come as a huge surprise.

Dan has been a huge part of building the community at Lynch Wood Park into what it is today. From welcoming new businesses and helping clients settle in, to being the person who somehow seems to know what is going on across the building at any given moment, he’s a big part of the reason people enjoy working there.

And this is exactly what good customer service looks like to us.

It isn’t just answering an email quickly or making sure the coffee machine is working.

It’s knowing your clients. Knowing their businesses. Remembering what they asked you about three weeks ago. Being available when they need something. And, occasionally, knowing that something needs sorting before they’ve even had the chance to mention it.

That’s the difference between providing office space and creating a place where people actually want to work.

For Dan, the award has an added significance. He was born and bred in Peterborough, and has always wanted to play a part in helping the city and its businesses thrive.

At Lynch Wood Park, he’s doing exactly that.

And he’s not doing it alone. Dan was quick to recognise the wider team, including his colleagues Catherine and Kelly, as well as the clients and businesses who contribute to the community at Lynch Wood Park every day.

It’s a great example of something we believe quite strongly at FigFlex: good workplaces are built around good people.

We can provide the offices, meeting rooms, facilities and everything else that comes with a FigFlex workspace.

But it’s our centre teams who turn those things into an experience.

So, another award for customer service.

Another reminder that the people looking after our clients are pretty important.

And a very well deserved congratulations to Dan and his team for being named a Workplace Champion.
