Freaky FigFlex… Spooky Events Near You!

With Halloween slithering closer and closer, the air is getting spookier, and the pumpkins are getting fatter! We fancied having a nosey at all the spooky goings-on around our FigFlex locations and we found plenty of fantastically frightful events, so we’ve shared our top treats below.

Watford – Hogwarts After Dark

It’s no surprise that our top pick for Halloween in Watford involves the ultra-famous boy wizard and his wonderful world filled with magic and sorcery! You guessed it, The Warner Bros. Studio Tour of The Making of Harry Potter. Hogwarts After Dark is where you’ll get to feast your eyes on the incredible floating pumpkins, dine amongst Death Eaters and visit the Forbidden Forest in all it’s eerie glory. Fly into the weird and wonderfully supernatural world of Harry Potter from 5th October!

Peterborough – Forbidden Halloween Rave

Peterborough ravers, this one’s for you! East of England arena will be home to one of the UK’s BIGGEST Halloween day raves, with a line up featuring DNB royalty such as Shy FX and Andy C. If you’re a rave head or fancy spending your Halloween weekend letting off some steam, then it may be worth digging out that Dracula costume and getting your freak on!

Swindon – Haunted Hayride

For some family friendly fun, Roves Farm is hosting a spooktacular event ‘The Hunt for the Pumpkin King’ on Halloween weekend. Venture out into the dark woods to uncover the mystery and see what other ghoulish goings-on you stumble across. Be sure to dress in your creepiest costumes and attend the Monster Mash disco after too!

Hull – Haunted Happenings, The Hostel

Haunted Happenings are hosting a hair-raising Halloween scarefest and it’s said to be their most terrifying EVER. Take a spine-chilling ghost hunt at the infamous 39 De Grey Street, known as The Hostel, to witness the menacing spirits and poltergeists which have caused so much ruckus! Accounts from previous tenants of the house include aggressive physical touch, furniture being thrown around and even growling noises. If you can brave it, you’re in a for a real fright of a night!

Gloucester – Berkeley Castle

Half-term Halloween fun is back at Berkeley Castle this year, and they’ve got some gruesome gags, terrible tales and scary stories! Treat your little horrors to fun, spooks and entertainment while tricking them into learning interesting and freaky history while they’re there. p.s. keep an eye out for King Henry VIII and his two headless wives chilling around the castle.

Southampton – Scream Aloud Scream Park

The South Coasts leading Halloween event holds 6 bloodcurdling experiences for a mega night of terror. Ghastly attractions such as gory hospital wards, macabre burial grounds and an ominous house of dolls are sure to bring your nightmares to life this Halloween. Known for its incredibly eerie actors and fantastically frightening settings, Scream Aloud is where you need to be for a terrifying night of gut-wrenching fear!

Coventry – Coombe Abbey Park Outdoor Cinema Experience

Adventure cinema is coming to Coventry and bringing an outdoor cinema experience like no other. Showing cult classics such as Hocus Pocus, The Shining and The Lost Boys on a mega screen under the moonlight. Warm up with hot food and drinks and enjoy an on-site bar while taking in the Halloween vibes!

London –Halloween Boat Party & Secret After Party

Jump aboard a spooky party boat on the river Thames for a ghoulishly groovy Halloween party. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their creepiest costumes in this epic, moonlit event. Spread across 2 dancefloors, you’ll be getting a monster mash-up of today’s music from the hair-raising DJ’s. And it doesn’t end there… Carry on into the early hours of dawn at the secret after party, who knows what freaks and frights wait for you this Halloween!
